Apple II. Bell & Howell. Darth Vader(1979)

We already have in the Museum the rare Apple II Plus, a machine manufactured by a company specializing in audiovisual equipment Bell & Howell, which in those years introduced the Apple II in education, thanks to a more accessible joystick port on the side, a lid locking screw, to prevent opening while on and an optional backpack with handle, which supports additional audio and video controls. These characteristics allowed him to achieve UL certification, an essential requirement for some school districts.

It visually differs from the Apple II Plus by its black color, which gave it the nickname Darth Vader
